Patients’ rights and Responsibilities
Rights of patients:

- The right to receive medical care that is safe, effective, and provided in a timely manner.
- The right to make decisions about their medical care, including the right to refuse treatment or to request a second opinion.
- The right to privacy and confidentiality with respect to their medical records and personal information.

- The right to access their medical records and to request corrections to any inaccuracies.
- The right to complain about the quality of care received and to have their complaints addressed in a timely and respectful manner.
Responsibilities of patients:
- Providing accurate and complete information about their medical history and current health status.
- Following the treatment plan and instructions provided by the healthcare provider.
- Reporting any unexpected changes in their health status or any side effects of the treatment.
- Respecting the rights and privacy of other patients and healthcare providers.
- Paying for the medical services received in a timely manner, if applicable.
- Providing feedback and suggestions for improving the quality of care.
